Obituary of Archie Lee Gray

Archie Lee Gray, 83, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at his home. Archie was a retired operation supervisor with Dominion Power, enjoyed wood working and an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. Gray, two daughters, Brenda Gray Ellison and Janet Gray Walker, a sister, Shirley G. Throckmorton (Melvin), a brother, Edgar P. Gray, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, May 9, 2014 with Rev. Wayne Good officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
