Mrs. Gray, Janet, Brenda and family, we are deeply sorry for your loss.
Growing up in the neighborhood, we can remember our family turning our thoughts and prayers toward Mr. Gray especially whenever there was a bad storm. When we heard his truck startup, we knew he would be venturing out into danger so he could provide for the safety to so many others. We also remember his quiet nature. So often it's the quiet souls who show the deepest passion and compassion in all that they do. The passion of his woodworking showed through in the beauty of the furniture he so carefully created and others could enjoy. Mr. Gray was certainly one to show compassion by making a career of helping others. He risked his own safety to ensure the safety of thousand. All the while, those thousands never even knew who the good samaritan was that kept them safe in the comfort of their homes. Our family being just one of thousands, we thank you for sharing him and his time with us all.
May all of you have peace to comfort you, courage for the days ahead and wonderful memories to hold in your hearts.
