Obituary of Arnold L. Scott

Arnold L. Scott, 81, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Scott was a retired machine operator with Stone Container for forty five years, a U.S. Air Force veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman and loved bowling. He is survived by two sons, Richard Lee Scott (Nellie) and David A. Scott (Vicky), three grandchildren, Jonathan Scott, Holly Michele Hatcher-McDaniel (Dave) and Robin Myriah Hatcher, a granddaughter, Madeline Rose McDaniel, brother-in-law, Andy Ingle and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, April 28, 2012 with Rev. Bruce Catron officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
