Joe was a wonderful Christian man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I will miss seeing him at First Baptist Church every Sunday. He was a fixture there for many years. I had the pleasure of ushering with him there for almost three decades. My mother and I wish to send out our condolences to Elizabeth and the rest of the family.

Joe was a very fine man. When we started attending First Baptist Church years ago, he welcomed us with an open handshake and shared some of the finer points of FBC membership with us. I have always appreciated his friendliness and kind words. Our condolences to his family. I know that they will miss him greatly as will his friends and church family.

Joe was a good man whom I had the pleaseure of working with. I will always remember his kindness to me and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. We will miss Joe's face and friendship truely at our shop christmas lunchs but he will never be forgotten
