I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Betty. I worked for her at Kenner Army Health Clinic until her retirement. She had hired me sight unseen when Defense Finance and Accounting Service left Fort Lee, VA and relocated to Lawton, OK. She was a spectacular supervisor always providing the best opportunities for advancement for us. Her family provided the very breath that gave her life. She was a selfless caregiver along with her husband for her parents. Her whole being lit up when she spoke of her son and grandchildren. I know her surviving family will miss her terribly; they already do! She strolls the streets of gold now along the Crystal Sea ever lingering at Heaven’s Gate waiting each one’s arrival as God calls them home. Rest easy, dear friend, your good deeds speak for themselves.
