Obituary of Elfriede Aultman

Elfriede Louise Schafer Aultman, age 88, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1935, in Landsberg Am Lech, Germany. Elfriede was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was best known to those who loved her as Oma. Elfriede was preceded in death by her son, William David Aultman. She is survived by her son, Klaus E. Aultman; and her daughter-in-law, Vickie; her granddaughters, Jessica Jackson (Adam) and Rebecca Mazzei (Victor); and her great-grandchildren, Trace Mazzei, Lincoln Jackson, Miles Mazzei, and the soon-to-arrive, Reagan Jackson; sister, Hilde Paulus (Peter), of Landsberg Am Lech, Germany; a special niece, Silvia Guggenberger, of Germany; and many nieces and nephews. Elfriede dedicated 30 years of her life to her career with Philip Morris before retiring. Her hard work and dedication made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company. She was and is loved by many and will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to At Home Care Hospice for their care and love towards Elfriede over the past several months, especially to David, Karen and Christine. Funeral services for Elfriede Louise Aultman will be privately held. The Memorial Funeral Home in Hopewell, Virginia, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
