Obituary of Jankie Bharat

Ms. Jankie Bharat formerly of Queens, New York passed away on Friday September 10, 2021. She was born on March 9, 1937 in Port Mourant, Guyana South America. A kind and loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed greatly. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Guyah, and siblings Christine and Paul. Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Patricia Kirpaul (Errol) of Hopewell, VA, Angela Jagdeo (Burt) and Theresa Sheikh (Saleem) all of New York, sisters, Minnie and Rani of New York and brother Roy of Canada and son Andre Guyah of Hopewell, VA. Also survived by grandchildren, Rudolph Kirpaul (Nichole), Tanya Kirpaul and Trevor Kirpaul of Hopewell, VA, Kara Jagdeo and Kirk Jagdeo, Amir Sheikh and Asim Sheikh all of New York. One great granddaughter Kamryn Kirpaul of Hopewell, VA. Lastly a special nephew Oliver (Maureen) of New York. A memorial service for friends and family will be at a later date.
