Obituary of Elmer Oscar Bissette

Elmer Oscar Bissette, 80, of Chester passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bissette was a longtime companion of the late, Maria "Linda" Howard. Elmer was a member of Saint James Catholic Church and retired from the State Department of Highways with thirty years service. He is survived by his niece, Virginia Tuggle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home- Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Southlawn Memorial Park.
