Matty has always been like a brother to my husband and I... we always looked at him as family.I'll never forget his reaction when my husband asked him to be his best man at her wedding. I'll never forget he kept cracking jokes. He always knew when to make you laugh and he always had good advice. If it won't for his advice my life would be entirely different right now. We're going to miss him I still can't believe he's gone. My thoughts are in prayers or with the rest of his family I regret not telling him how much he meant to me and how much he's helped me personally with his advice. Not to mention his honesty he was a true friend and brother to me.

I am sorry of hear of Donny's death. He was a friend of my son Henry. We enjoyed his company
in our home and when Henry moved to New York we lost touch. Donny was always welcome in our home and he treated like my a mother, he was polite and respectful. He always had a smile for me and he will be missed.

Donnie was there for me when Billy died,he made sure there was a fire truck at the entrance to the cemetery. He was like family when he was younger on Carson fire dept he would come to our house and hang out and picked on our kids as if they were siblings.Donnie will always be loved and in our hearts! I don't know exactly what you say to help ease the pain you must be feeling at losing Donnie. He was my best male friend growing up. I tried to find him on Facebook several times, but I was not successful. I'd been spelling Matthys wrong all these years. I wished we could have stayed in touch. God must surely have needed his sweet soul in heaven for him to be taken away from you all. He is shining bright in heaven now. I have great sympathy for you all, and great empathy for Donnie's son Anthony. Anthony, I know what it is like to lose your dad when you are young. Please think of me as your long lost Aunt Ginny, finally back in touch. Should you need me, just ask honey. Your dad held a very special place in my heart all these years. ❤

So very sorry to hear the news of Donald's passing.
Donald was such a good person with a kind heart. He was an extremely dedicated community servant which was proven day after day in his service as a volunteer firefighter and fire officer in Prince George County Fire and EMS. There was never a time when you called Donald and asked for assistance that he wasn't right there doing all he could do to help out. He will surely be missed!
Donald's service here on earth is complete, rest easy Donald, we have the watch from here my friend.
