Obituary of Betty Jean Johnson

Betty Jean Johnson, (Betty Roberts) 59, of Hopewell, passed away on September 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was the daughter of the late Marvin W. and Maggie B. Roberts of McKenney, Va. She is survived by her beloved brother, Kenneth Roberts (Sheri). She was the devoted, loving wife of Robert L. Johnson. They began their married life forty four years ago and together, were blessed with four children; Bridget Davis (Lee), Robert L. Johnson II (Theresa), John Johnson (Tammy), and Chrissy Smith (Daniel). They share nine grandchildren; Courtney and Maranda Ellis, Robert L. III, Shelby, Shaina, and Ryan Johnson; Alyssa and Dustin Johnson; Addy Smith, two great grandchildren and a large extended family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home in Hopewell from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.memorialfh.com
