I came to the Hopewell Fire Department in 1974 and was on Sonny Brown's shift. Rennie Tomlin and Paul Mannor were the captains. I only stayed for two years but working for Sonny was one of the greatest times of my life. I remember he was not only my Battalion Chief but a good friend. RIP Chief, you will surely be missed. May God Bless You.......Greg

Sonny - I will miss you greatly. We had so many fun years at the Boys Club and evening spent with you and Helen at the Anchor Room. Years of fun times. You'll be with her now....as it should be. Rest in peace.

I am absolutely devastated to hear of the death of my beloved Uncle Sonny! Uncle Sonny, you are now reunited with Helen, Roger and Vincent and I know it must have been a joyous reunion, indeed! But, you are sadly missed here. Rest in peace.
