I just now heard of Ed's passing. I thought the world of Ed. I loved bowling with him and Nadine and enjoyed our dinners together after. I especially liked his sense of humor and valued his wisdom.
I am deeply saddened that he is gone and so wish I would have known sooner that he was ill. He was a great guy and I will miss him terribly.

I am sorry to hear of Ed's death. I knew him from the time he was Pool Manager at the Defense Supply Center in the 70's. Too young to have passed away!
Sympathy to Carol, Kristi and Ginny.

On behalf of Dean & Carla Jones, we were really saddened to hear of Ed's death. He was an extraordinary man. Dean knew Ed alot longer than me, but over the years I got to know him better and realized, this is a very good man, with wonderful Nadine by his side. I know that there are many in the community who will mourn deeply. May he rest in peace. ~Dean & Carla Jones~

Ed was a very good friend and will be missed.
It seem like everywhere we went someone would ask if we were related. Ed and I spoke of that often. Nadine, sorry for your loss.

Ed was a natural born leader who was 1 of Patrick's very best friends. He was someone you can count on in case of emergency, someone who goes out of his way to help others, and someone you want on your side. He had an opinion about a lot of things, but then again, that is how we Pennsylvanians are! Ed: You will truly be missed by many people, especially during bowling events and on New Year’s Eve! May God be with you, Nadine, and your family. Rest in Peace, My Friend!

Words cannot express all my feelings about my friend. Ed has been a very important part of my life for almost 45 years. Over those years, he was my teacher, my coach, my co-worker, my roommate, my bowling teammate, and of course, the best and most loyal of friends. I was Ed's roommate when he 1st met Nadine, and from that moment on, I never let him forget that without a doubt, that was best thing that had happened to him in the time that I had known him. In response, Ed would always say that he could not have agreed more. To Nadine, I thank you for all you did to make Ed an even better man. Ed, Nadine, and I have traveled together to bowling tournaments and various other events. The 3 of us even traveled to The Bahamas together. Above all, Ed was a man who was totally devoted to his family. To Christi, Carol, and Missy, I can personally attest that you were always uppermost in his thoughts and as often as he talked about you, I could tell how devoted he was to each of you. In all aspects of life, Ed was truly a giant among men in this life, and I have no doubt that he will be received the same way in the next life. I will deeply miss my friend.

Terry and I send out sympathies to each of you in the loss of Ed. Terry and Ed spent much time together in coaching the JV football team many years ago. And while their educational connection parted, we still feel a connection. Thankful to Ed for faithfully volunteering with the Auxiliary Police; that is how our paths have crossed again as Ed was still active and participant in the Fire & EMS length of service program. He will be missed of course in the public and also on our Board. Blessings to each of you. Brenda Schraner
