The world has lost a beautiful soul and a loving mother and grandmother. Heaven gained an angel when she was taken in to God's arms. May God grant her family the strength they need at this most difficult of times.

I remember Lidia as a seriously devoted wife. She faithfully lived the words caring "in sickness or health" ..She was a faithful Catholic, and loving mother of seven remarkable children.
A remember so well...., when John D.
knew it was time to send her to Italy to
visit family. She was still such a beautiful young woman; one would
think she could have been an Italian movie star!!!
I hope ..a favorite singer of hers, Dean Martin, will be singing nearby as her
family members are there to welcome her to
Heaven and eternity....

Lidia was an exceptiona lady. I remember as a teenager spending time @her home with Judy. She was kind to me and treated me like one of the family. Who would think that one day she would marry my father!
Lidia took such care with my dad that it prolonged his life by years. I can only imagine the void that the Buffo family must feel.
It is so hard for me to go to funerals, it by no means is it that I don't care or don't want to express my regrets. Pat has kept me in touch with Lidia's health and I am thankful that she has had her family with her during her entire life. At the end she was surrounded by the family that she devoted her life, what a gift. She loved you all with such a passion and was thankful for each and every one of you.
I was reading the obituary and wow, what a legacy she has left.
Take care of each other, your mom can now rest.
Love,
JoAnn, Steve and Michael Griffin
