Obituary of Thelma M. Jenkins

Thelma M. Jenkins, 93, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday November 19,2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Jenkins, a son, Robert O. Jenkins, and her parents JW and Bettie Rickman. She was a lifetime member of West End Presbyterian Church, loved gardening and her flowers however her pride and joy was her family, and she was always available for them. She never met a stranger and was known as Grandma Jenkins to everyone. Thelma is survived by daughters, Dottie Wray (Tommy), Betty Sue Farley, and Carol J. Moore, grandchildren, Stephanie Phillips (Doug), Jeff Jenkins (Connie), Lori Roscher (Tim), Erik Moore (Patty), Robert Jenkins, Robert Farley, Pam Eades (Rick), Linda Nerwton (Bill), Debbie Wray, 18 Great Grandchildren and a great great granddaughter Allie Mae. The family will receive friend at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 6PM to 8PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM, Interment will be private.
