Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Baker

Mary Elizabeth Baker, 96, of Wakefield passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 in Waverly Health Care Center. Mrs. Baker was a member of Powers Memorial Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Nannie Bragg Hall, a son-in-law, Garry Trant, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Frank R. Baker, three sons, Rev. Dr. F. Russell Baker (Anita), Robert Richard Baker (Janice) and Dennis Hall Baker (Amelia), two daughters, Nancy Baker Ninio (James) and Jane Baker Trant, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Powers Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Breckenridge officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
